A Big Step to Re-opening London
Today marks another important day on the path to reopening London, and ending the Covid pandemic so life can return to normal. At home, you’ll now be able to get together in a group of 6 or 2 households, and up to 30 people outside, which will help with people’s feelings of loneliness and isolation resulting from the lockdown.
Starting today all indoor activities and attractions will also be opened again. These include:
- Museums and galleries
- Zoos and aquariums
- Bowling alleys
- And more…
Outdoor and indoor events, like concerts and sporting events will also be allowed, with some limitations. For indoor activities (the cinema, theatre, concerts) there will be a limit of 1,000 people. For outdoor activities the limit will be 4,000 people (10,000 people if it’s in a big stadium like Wembley or the Emirates).
Finally, starting today a business or organisation, like Ingla for example, can organise indoor or outdoor group activities, as long as safety is ensured. That means that our famous Enrichment Programme could be making a return very soon!
Go out for coffee with a friend, play football in the park, hug your mum – brighter days are coming.
