Ingla’s Response to the Coronavirus – 13th March 2020

Ingla School of English recognises that the current Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic is causing a significant amount of anxiety for a lot of people from different places in the world. Although this is only affecting a small percentage of the population, we feel that it is important to update you with how we are dealing with this at Ingla.

We understand that Inglans might be feeling worried about the current situation and might have many questions. Some of you might be worrying about home and family and might have questions about when you might be able to travel back. You may even have concerns about the future and what impact this outbreak might have on your Ingla Booking.

For any of you who have thoughts and questions such as these, we want to take this opportunity to tell you that we understand that you may have some doubts and we will do everything that we can to make sure that this time is as easy for you to manage as possible. In London, the fact is that the majority of people who have been tested have given a negative result. Moreover, we are taking every precaution necessary to make sure that the wellbeing and welfare of Inglans and members of the Ingla Team is of the highest priority at Ingla.

We are constantly monitoring the evolving situation with regards to this Coronavirus outbreak and we want you to know that we have taken steps to make things easier.   We have put up posters in Reception advising Inglans about what you can do to help prevent the spread of this virus. The advice from scientific experts is that washing your hands frequently with warm water and soap for 20 seconds each time will break down traces of  the Coronavirus from your hands and work against it being transmitted. If the loos are busy, Inglans can also wash their hands in the kitchen or use the hand sanitiser which is available in Reception.

It’s very, very important that if any Inglans have flu-like symptoms such as:

  • a dry cough
  • breathing difficulties (even a little)
  • a high temperature (fever)

they should stay at home and not come to Ingla for their lesson(s).

Inglans can call us on 07904 417891 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) or send a WhatsApp message to the same number. You can also email us at admin@ingla.co.uk.
