Getting To Ingla

Heathrow

The Heathrow Express train runs from Heathrow terminals and arrives at Paddington in 15 minutes. Turnpike Lane can be reached by catching the Tube (what Londoners call the underground/ metro) from Paddington via the Circle Line (yellow) east and changing at Kings Cross to get the Piccadilly Line (dark blue) north. www.heathrowexpress.com

Gatwick

The Gatwick Express train runs from Gatwick terminals to Victoria station in 30 minutes. Turnpike Lane can be reached by catching the Victoria Line (light blue) north and changing at Kings Cross to get the Piccadilly Line (dark blue) north. www.gatwickexpress.com

Stansted

The Stansted Express train runs from Stansted airport and stops at Tottenham Hale in 35 minutes. This is a stop close to Ingla – there is a 24-hour bus ride connection straight to the school (Turnpike Lane bus stop) from outside the station. The Stansted Express also goes to Stratford and Liverpool Street stations. www.stanstedexpress.com

Luton

From Luton airport you can catch a shuttle bus to the Luton train station which will take you directly to St Pancras station, from there you can walk directly to Kings Cross station where you can get the Piccadilly Line (dark blue) north to Turnpike Lane.  www.london-luton.co.uk

Buses are a cheaper way to connect to the major London Tube stations but generally have a much longer journey time. One advantage is that many run throughout the night.

Taxi is the most expensive option in general.

All airports have Black Cabs and minicabs which service them. Black Cabs can be hailed from anywhere if the yellow light at the top is on.

Please note:

*Check airport websites for the times of interconnecting trains and buses as many do not run through the night.

*Group bookings may be available on airport transfer trains.

*The Tube runs through the night at weekends but finishes between 11.30pm-12am during the week.
