British Literary Characters Term
British literature has given us a wonderful selection of colourful characters that stay in our imaginations forever.
This term at Ingla we are celebrating some of beloved British literary characters with special events, Film Clubs, Enrichment trips to important literary places in London, pub nights and an amazing competition. You could even win 2 Tickets to a West End Show in London! Look at the school notice board in Reception each week to see what special events are coming up!

Correctly answer the quiz questions posted on our Instagram every week between 23rd January and 15th March 2023 and you will be entered for a draw to win two tickets for the incredible The Mousetrap theatre production, based on a book by British author Agatha Christie, in one of London’s famous West End theatres.
The Winner will be announced at the Ingla End of Term Party on 24th March 2023.
How to enter the competition:
To enter the draw you must answer correctly one or more of the 8 BLC Quiz Questions announced each week between 23rd January and 15th March on the Ingla Instagram page.
The Quiz Question is open for 24 hours from the moment of publication.
If you answered the Quiz Question correctly and within the 24-hour time limit, your name will be included in the big prize draw.
You get one draw entry per each Quiz Question answered, which means a maximum of 8 entries for each participant.
The Big Prize Draw:
The Big Prize Draw will be held at Ingla School of English End of Term Party on 24th March 2023 and announced on Ingla Instagram page.
The winner will be contacted via direct message and the 2 e-tickets will be sent via email.The prize is 2 tickets to ‘The Mousetrap’ by Agatha Christie for the performance at the St Martin’s Theatre at 19:30 on Tuesday 29th March 2023.
You must be 18 or over and intend to be in London on the day of the performance.
